You know that things are bad if I'm quoting Pat Buchanan. But here he is, calling out the Democratic Party for being weak, spineless and, basically, scared to death.
For a Democratic Congress is now voting to fully fund the war in Iraq, as demanded by President Bush, and without any timetable for a U.S. troop withdrawal. Bush got his $100 billion, then magnanimously agreed to let Democrats keep the $20 billion in pork they stuffed into the bill – to soothe the pain of their sellout of the party base.
Even the left-leaning Jon Stewart drops some condemnation on the 'victorious' Democratic party.
"When the disembodied voice on CSPAN calls you pussies, you're probably pussies."
Nice work, Democrats. Glad to see that you were voted in to power for a good reason - to keep things exactly the way they were before the election. The US government is a one-party racket. No use fooling ourselves any longer in thinking that a little thing like voting is going to make a difference.
Where is my molotov?
